Neuro Gum Ingredients
Caffeine - It's caffeine, it gives you energy and does improve focus. We all know how this works, 40mg is about the same amount as a small cup of coffee and it does kick in slightly quicker when absorbed through the mouth as it would be from chewing neuro gum. It's a fine inclusion, but this is really all that's going to be particularly effective here.
B6 - B vitamins are common place in energy drinks and they are a good inclusion, however, the amount in neuro gum is pretty low, a lot of energy drinks go 100s of times higher than the minimum daily intake to achieve the energy boost effect, whereas neuro gum only goes for 60% meaning that it's a little on the low side in neuro energy and focus gum.
B12 - B12 is used by the body to convert food into energy, it does help keep energy levels stable through the day although this is often slightly exaggerated it is still good for keeping you going through the day, a good inclusion and a plus point in our neuro gum review.
L Theanine - L theanine is an extract that comes from green tea and it is known for having some mood boosting effects, that said, 60mg isn't really enough to be effective and it's also not a fast acting supplement, this is one of those that builds up over time. Now, if you're having 3 pieces of neuro gum a day, that's fine, but it's not going to kick in immediately.
All in all there are a lot of other ingredients that you can put into energy supplements that are as if not more effective, b vitamins and caffeine are fine, but if we're comparing neuro gum and mints against an actual nootropic they fall far behind.
