Redcon1 GI Juice is a dietary supplement made from a range of powdered fruits and vegetables, greens powder, digestive enzymes, antioxidants, and pre and probiotics. It was designed as a digestive support supplement that can also benefit your overall health and wellbeing.
Widely accepted to have a great taste and mix easily, average healthy adults may notice a small improvement in digestion while using Redcon1 GI Juice. It would appear, however, that this is a supplement that has tried to do too much at once, whilst sticking to a budget.
When looking at the ingredients, you will see a number of staples from the best greens powder supplements, such as barley, chlorella, green tea, kale, spinach, and spirulina. Unfortunately, these are outnumbered by ingredients that have little to no evidence to support their use. They'd have been much better off having less in there in better dosages.
As a result it uses a number of proprietary blends, such as its fruits and vegetables blend and digestive enzyme blend. This is always a red flag as proprietary blends mask the true dosage of each ingredient within the blend.
Even the ingredients that are included outside of a blend, such as bacillus coagulans, betaine, galactomannan, and inulin are present in doses far smaller than is ideal. This means they will likely be ineffective and further increases the worry about what is actually used in each blend. If they'd have tried to do less rather than falling into the trap of a lot of greens powders our redcon1 gi juice review would be a lot more positive.
Overall, Redcon1 GI Juice appears to taste pleasant and seem relatively affordable, but is only moderately beneficial. There are many far better greens supplements on the market, such as Supergreen Tonik, which will provide significantly better results, although GI Juice is OK at it's price point.

Redcon1 GI Juice has relatively positive reviews in general, although these largely focus on the price, taste, flavor, and mixability of the supplement, rather than its effectiveness. This may have skewed the results, as some have even referred to it as the "best tasting greens formula".
There is a huge difference in the content of the negative reviews, however, as these almost all focus on its efficacy.
With many noting they saw either no results or less than they had experienced with other supplements, it paints an overall picture of Redcon1 GI Juice as a supplement that is enjoyable to drink but not one that will produce great results or be able to replace real food. In short Redcon1 gi juice is definitely better than no greens, but not something we'd recommend swapping to.

Organic Kale Powder
Kale is a cabbage with either green of purple leaves, which is full of minerals, phytochemicals, and vitamins. A superfood that's been consumed worldwide for centuries, it's proven to offer benefits like lowering cholesterol levels and preventing heart disease.
Organic Spinach Powder
Spinach is a variety of leafy greens rich in dietary fibre, minerals, and vitamins, which can be eaten raw, cooked, or added to supplements. It offers a wide range of health benefits, such as improving vision, managing healthy blood pressure levels, and easing anxiety and stress levels.
Organic Broccoli Powder
Broccoli powder is a dehydrated and ground form of the popular brassica vegetable. Studies show it slightly improves cholesterol levels but offers very little benefit beyond that.
Organic Alfalfa Powder
Fresh alfalfa contains pinitol, which has antioxidant properties, and boosts the function of the kidneys and liver. However, when consumed in powdered form, there is no evidence to suggest it provides any benefits.
Organic Wheat Powder
Wheat powder is made from fresh wheatgrass and is rich in antioxidants, vitamin c, and vitamin e. Studies suggest it reduces oxidative stress and the chance of heart disease, aids with arthritis, lowers cholesterol, and fights some diseases.
All these benefits are still being investigated though, and there's no conclusive proof confirming any of them.
Organic Barley Powder
Barley powder is sourced from a grass and cereal grain that's been used to make foods and drinks for centuries. High in a number of nutrients, it can enhance fat loss, boost heart health, and manage blood sugar and cholesterol levels when consumed regularly.
Green Tea Powder
Green tea powder is rich in natural caffeine and antioxidants called catechins.
It offers many benefits when consumed, like raising energy levels, enhancing fat burning, lipolysis, and metabolism, increasing stamina, relieving stress, managing cholesterol and blood pressure levels, boosting brain and heart functions, and helping with certain health conditions.
Organic Mulberry Powder
Limited studies hypothesise that mulberry fruit extracts can improve your insulin response and manage blood glucose levels. However, these studies are still in their early stages and no results have been published.
Organic Carrot Powder
Fresh carrots are a great source of vitamin A, but there is insufficient evidence to prove that carrot powder supplements are beneficial in any way.
Organic Goji Powder
Goji berries are rich in antioxidants, fibre, iron, vitamin a, and vitamin c, and often used to aid weight loss, physical performance, lipid metabolism, and the immune system. The heat used to create goji powder can damage its components though, making it much less effective.
Organic Apple Powder
Apples are full of antioxidants, flavonoids, minerals, polyphenols, and vitamins and are known to boost to your overall wellbeing. Processing can greatly diminish these nutrients though, and there is no comprehensive evidence to show apple powder can offer the same benefits.
Spirulina Powder
Spirulina, or blue green algae, is a cyanobacteria that's been put in foods for its purported health benefits for centuries and is now common in supplements like greens powders.
Rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, minerals, protein, and vitamins, it can prevent oxidative damage and fight free radicals, lower blood sugar levels, and reduce blood pressure.
Chlorella Powder
Chlorella is a chlorophyte green algae that can provide energy more efficiently than sugar, without the risk of glucose spikes. It also boasts various antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins and offers a wide number of beneficial effects.
These include regulating blood sugar and cholesterol levels, improving overall health and wellbeing, helping to detoxify the body, and combating certain illnesses.
Inulin (Chicory Root)
Inulin is a prebiotic and soluble fibre in root vegetables primarily used as a digestive aid. It improves gut health, encourages better nutrient absorption, and eases constipation. Some studies say it helps manage blood sugar levels too (1).
Unfortunately, most studies agree around 3 grams of inulin daily is required to see results. With this being far less than the 800 mg per serving in Redcon1 GI Juice, it's likely to do little, if any good.
Betaine Anhydrous
Betaine is an amino acid and methyl donor widely accepted to help keep the digestive system and liver healthy, promote cellular reproduction, and improve the metabolism of amino acids.
For these effects to occur though, you must use around 3 grams of betaine hcl per day. With Redcon1 GI Juice having 500 mg of the weaker betaine anhydrous per serving, it's unlikely to provide any real benefit (2).
Digestive Enzymes (Amylases, Cellulase, Lactase, Lipase, Proteases)
Digestive enzymes help to clear the digestive tract to offer improved digestion, better use of nutrients, and a healthier digestive system overall.
Unfortunately, the blend in Redcon1 GI Juice is missing 2 of the main digestive enzymes, maltase and sucrase, while using yet another proprietary blend to mask the true doses. This means there's no way to know how beneficial it will be, if it is at all (3).
LactoWise (Bacillus Coagulans)
Bacillus coagulans is a probiotic healthy bacteria used as a digestion aid, which can help with digestive issues like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and aid with abdominal pain or diarrhoea.
This requires a dose of 6 billion spores per day though, which is 3 times what is found in Redcon1 GI Juice, rendering the dosage used virtually obsolete (4).
Galactomannan
Galactomannan is a probiotic dietary fibre found which studies suggest can be beneficial to humans as it helps manage cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure levels (5).
The ideal dose of galactomannan has not been determined, but virtually all studies put it well above the 60 mg in each serving of Redcon1 GI Juice.

For those who truly want to boost both their digestion and wellness, there are plenty of great greens drink mixes, like Supergreen Tonik, which taste great while meeting all of the required criteria to provide the results you are looking for, while costing only slightly more money.
