Olly Laser Focus Gummies Ingredients
Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) - 2 MG
Vitamin B6 is made of 6 different compounds and effects more than 140 coenzyme reactions throughout the human body.
The main reason for its inclusion in a supplement like this is that it improves the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters, which are required to keep the brain cells firing and healthy. It can then also offer additional benefits, such as boosting your metabolic rate and testosterone levels (1).
Unfortunately, despite its many benefits, vitamin b6 is only deemed to be safe when you take doses of 1.5 mg or under each day.
Taking more than this puts you at risk of experiencing side effects, including heartburn, skin lesions, muscle spasms, nausea, numbness, photosensitivity, and loss of feeling in extremities.
As Olly Laser Focus Gummies contain 2 mg of vitamin b6 per serving, it is too strong and likely to do more harm than good.
Vitamin B12 (As Methylcobalamin) - 50 MCG
Vitamin b12 is an essential vitamin that is required for effective brain development and function, as well as for the function of nerves.
Keeping your vitamin b12 levels up can improve the production of bone marrow, DNA, nerves, red blood cells, and testosterone, boost your metabolic rate, and prevent brain fog, depression, mental decline, mood swings, and conditions like vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
The problem is, to produce any of these effects, you must be consuming a minimum of 1,000 mcg of vitamin b12 each day (2). As Olly Laser Focus Gummies boast just 50 mcg per serving, it will do absolutely nothing and is not even worth including in the first place.
American Ginseng Extract (Panax Quinquefolius Root) - 100 MG
Ginseng extract is a root extract of the panax plant that has been used in traditional medicines around the globe for centuries, due to the wide range of potential health benefits that have been linked to it.
Studies have shown that it can boost brain functions, mood, and testosterone levels, treat erectile dysfunction, provide immune support, give you more energy, and help with conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia.
The issue is, these results are only produced when you consume between 200 and 400 mg of ginseng extract per day (3). As Olly Laser Focus Gummies contain just 100 mg of ginseng extract, it simply isn't strong enough to have the desired effect.
Alpha GPC (Alpha-Glycerylphosphorylcholine) - 20 MG
Alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine is a unique form of choline called alpha gpc for short. An acetylcholine precursor, it is a compound similar to an amino acid, and choline works on site to provide a wide variety of benefits to the human body.
This includes keeping the brain's signals firing to support clear memory, focus, learning, motivation, and other brain functions, while also improving muscle contractions and nutrient metabolism, enhancing fat loss, and lowering cholesterol levels (4).
However, to see any of the effects, you must take 400 mg of alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine three times per day. As Olly Laser Focus Gummies contain just a 20 mg dose in each serving, it is far too weak to provide any of the benefits that the compound is capable of producing.
Other Ingredients
The other ingredients section of the Olly Laser Focus Gummies label lists cane sugar, glucose syrup, water, gelatin, natural flavours, citric acid, colouring from lycopene, and tartaric acid. Most of these ingredients are added to make the product taste good and improve its texture.
However, glucose syrup and cane sugar will also give you more energy, which will help you to focus and stay on task. The problem is, they are also high in calories and simple carbs, so could quickly lead to fat storage and weight gain if you take too many or don't exercise enough.
