Customers Reviews of Nootrum Sea Moss
At the time of writing the supplement is pretty new, so there isn’t a whole load of these, so we gave it to three of our testers for 6 weeks, and two out of three were overwhelmingly positive, the other noted that they do “think” it was better than other sea moss they’d tried, but that Irish Sea Moss wasn’t something that they’d responded hugely to in the past. And by our standards that’s actually a really good response. What about the actual customer reviews of Nootrum Sea Moss? Well, Nootrum as a brand in general the reviews are good, so we know the customer service etc is good already. As for the Sea Moss Blend itself, there were a few reviews across the usual places and they were positive.
Nootrum Sea Moss Blend Ingredients Breakdown
Irish Sea Moss (50% Polysaccharides) – 650 mg Irish Sea Moss is known for its rich content of essential minerals like iodine, calcium, and magnesium, Irish sea moss supports thyroid function, skin health, and immune support. And the 650 mg is a solid dose that lines up with the trials, so no complaints here.
Bladderwrack (20% Fucoidan) – 400 mg Bladderwrack relies on a compound known as fucoidan, which is great for thyroid health due to its iodine content and is also linked to anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties. With the 400 mg of bladderwrack standardized to 20% fucoidan we’ve got a full dose.
Burdock Root 10:1 (Arctiin/Inulin) – 400 mg Burdock root is traditionally used for detoxification and skin health, and it's rich in inulin (a prebiotic fiber) and arctiin (a compound with anti-inflammatory properties). And standardizing for 10:1 of those particular ingredients is interesting, as this is an actual first for us, because NO other sea moss supplement we’ve seen has these dosed effectively. Absolutely brilliant from Nootrum Sea Moss blend.
Spirulina (50% Phycocyanin) – 250 mg Spirulina is a nutrient-dense superfood, packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. Phycocyanin, the active compound, has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Spirulina may help improve muscle strength, endurance, and overall vitality. The interesting thing is that phycocyanin is the compound which does all the heavy lifting. Considering that it normally makes up a very low percentage of spirulina, most 3 to 5 gram doses don’t even have enough. So getting a full dose in a tiny capsule is absolutely fantastic and compliments the overall Nootrum Sea Moss Blend. Another plus.
Jamaican Sea Moss (50% Polysaccharides) – 150 mg Similar to Irish sea moss and overlapping, it’s a bit of a gimmick if we’re being honest, but raising the polysaccharides isn’t a bad thing. Jamaican sea moss provides minerals and polysaccharides for gut health, skin care, and inflammation reduction.
Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract) – 5 mg Bioperine enhances the bioavailability of other nutrients in the supplement, making them more effective, this is a good addition to pretty much any supplement. It aids in the absorption of minerals and phytonutrients, amplifying the effects of the other ingredients.
Price - If you bulk buy it’s $30 a bottle, which lines it up with most mid range sea moss supplements, and it’s far better than those. As a result, we’d give it quite a high score when it comes to value for money. The one month supply is also fine, and probably a bit of a deal, but doesn’t represent as high value.
