Customers Reviews of Nootrum Mushrooms
Update: When we originally wrote our Nootrum Review there weren't a lot of customer reviews to go off, since there have been a decent amount of verified positive reviews.
As for our personal tests, all 3 testers noted improved focus and concentration and scored higher on our memory game tests after 6 weeks than they did at the start. Whilst this can only be seen as anecdotal due to the sample size. It’s still a good result for the supplement.
Nootrum Ingredients
Lions Mane – Lions mane contains polysaccharides that help boost the immune system's response to infections and illnesses and has been shown to promote the production of nerve growth factor. Erinacines and hericenones are the ones that we're looking, the most important being erinacines as they are best at passing the blood brain barrier, and Nootrum get's this right, it's actually the only mushroom supplement we've seen do this. By standardizing for these specific compounds to have as much as 8 grams of actual lions mane. [1]
Reishi – Reishi is again an immune booster, but it’s also an adaptogen, similar to extracts like those in ashwagandha it’s able to improve mood and lower stress by helping the body purge excess cortisol. Reishi also contains Beta Glucans and we'll come on to what they do after we break down shitake as that also contains a lot of these. [2]
Cordyceps - Cordyceps is known for its potential to improve oxygen utilization, which can lead to enhanced endurance and reduced fatigue, it also contains compounds that can modulate the immune system. On top of that it seems to be able to improve energy and may help regulate blood sugar, making it a good inclusion especially at an extract density equivilant to 3 grams as found in nootrum. [3]
Turkey Tail - Turkey tail is perhaps best known for its immune-boosting properties. It contains polysaccharides that are particularly effect for this, but it’s also pretty good for gut health and there’s some initial research that suggests it can have a notable effect on improving liver health and detoxification. [4]
Shiitake - As we mentione shiitake contains a lot of beta glucans, but also one of its peholics is also good for skin health by reducing the signs of aging and improving skin texture and elasticity. [5]
Beta Glucans - Beta-glucans are well-known for their ability to modulate the immune system. They can enhance the activity of immune cells like macrophages and neutrophils, helping the body defend against infections and diseases. And on top of that the Beta-glucans in Nootrum can help lower LDL cholesterol levels, which are often referred to as "bad" cholesterol. By binding to cholesterol in the digestive tract expelling it. There's also some suggestion they can help with allergies and weight management, but the research is still early. [6,7
