Dose for Your Liver is one of the most egregious rip offs I've ever come across. The 400mg of ingredients in here isn't even close to a functional dose (ironic I know) of anything. Even if you had all of the extracts from Turmeric, Milk Thistle, Ginger and Dandelion in their most refined forms this wouldn't be close to enough to do anything.
Curcumin, from turmeric, requires 500mg all by itself, and even as the largest ingredient in Dose for Your Liver, it's a waste of time. And even then it's only mildly effective for liver benefits. It is a natural anti inflammatory, which can have some benefits, but there are far better options.
Silymarin (the extract from Milk Thistle) could theoretically be dosed high enough at 100mg, but seeing as turmeric is the largest ingredient in the blend, and Dose for Your Liver doesn't specify having pure silymarin at this dose it's obviously hiding the lack of content.
Ginger requires an entire gram, so obviously we're getting nothing useful here, and dandelion is also several 100mg to be effective.
And whilst Dose for Your Liver may taste nice, that's not a good enough reason to justify it costing more than $100 a month.
You can get these ingredient in capsules, and dosed correctly at HALF the price of Dose for Your Liver.
Avoid this supplement. I typically recommend LeberCure when it comes to liver supplements, it's a relatively unknown brand, but has the correct doses of Milk Thistle, Dandelion and Artichoke as well as the enzymes that your liver uses to break down fats, and whilst this is a relatively recent discovery, they do seem to be one of the most effective ways to protect liver health.
