There's nothing more important than a deep and restful sleep when it comes to day to day self maintenance. We've all experienced waking up on the wrong side of the bed, feeling irritable after a poor nights sleep. It makes sense, then, that nighttime sleep aid tablets have been a popular way to ensure you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the days challenges, so how does Sleepology fair?
Well honestly we doubt this product would have any meaningful effect for anything. It's an organic homeopathic blend, so where we might normally discuss doses along with a full ingredients breakdown, there's really no need here. In fact we imagine a lot of you have already heard enough and decided this product is or isn't for you based on the knowledge that it's a homeopathic solution, certified organic or not.
In short Genexa is banking on the placebo effect, which has actually been shown to be somewhat effective for sleep, but that really isn't the point here.
So there's a lot of iffy reviews here, but that doesn't mean that they all are, and even filtering out the more sketchy ones seemed to result in an average of 3.5*. Although oddly quite a few of the reviews that gave the product 3 stars said that it didn't work at all, which we found a little odd. We'd have expected a slightly lower score from a product that the verified customer reviews said didin't work.
Genexa sleepology side effects were not mentioned as we'd expect from a product that barely contains any ingredients.
Depending on your perspective, Genexa Sleepology is a real waste of your time or is a real remedy for restless sleep. It's a bit of a contentious subject for some, but we can't recommend a product based on a pseudo science. There may be healing ingredients present, there may be impressive claims of lacking artificial sweeteners, preservatives or other artificial flavors within these non gmo homeopathic medicines, but they're easy claims to make when the medicine also lacks any meaningful amount of effective ingredients. No side effects? What about no effect at all? It's certainly a more accurate claim when seeing how much of each ingredient is present, against how much has been observed effective in clinical trials.
Let's take the first ingredient in the list, Alfalfa. Genexa sleepology contains this ingredient diluted 10 to the power of 6. Just to provide perspective, the solution of Alfalfa used has a concentration of 0.000001%. We'll let you make up your own mind as to just how impactful you think that inclusion might be, but for us it's settled things beyond doubt. Then there's the fact that alfalfa isn't even known to be a sleep aid, like most of the ingredients in Genexa sleepology. Even those that do have some claims to functionally aiding sleep like chamomille don't work in capsule form or require 1000mg doses and up.
Now let's talk about what might be considered positives that Genexa Sleepology holds. It's gluten free, though so are most sleep tablets. It's non habit forming, though we predict this is because there's no use in continuing to use an ineffective product. You take the product by chewing, negating the need to swallow. It's melatonin free, which is strange to be considered a positive considering melatonin is one of the most effect and necessary ingredients for sleeping tablets but some people are a little more sensitive to it so we can see their perspective, as much as it may seem to be grasping at straws. It has "clean ingredients" which we would imagine to be the case knowing they're over 99% water.
You're looking for a product that will help you fall asleep and stay asleep, and with a homeopathic solution we just can not recommend genexa sleepology for this use. If you're looking for a real remedy that uses a transparent formula of effective and well researched organic ingredients then we strongly recommend RestAgain.
